Tools Apps by AM is designed primarily as a local tool and utility application.

  • Media & Documents Stay Local: All media playback (audio/video), video editing, document scanning, image cropping, and file browsing occur locally on your Android device.
  • No Cloud Storage of Personal Files: We do not upload, stream, backup, or transfer your personal files, scanned documents, audio tracks, or edited videos to external servers or cloud repositories operated by us, unless you explicitly choose to share them via third-party platforms.

2. Information We Collect and Runtime Permissions

To provide the features of a utility app, we may request certain Android runtime permissions. We adhere strictly to Google Play’s Minimum Scope Permission Policy—requesting only access that is strictly necessary for core features.

A. Media & File Storage Permissions

  • Permissions Requested: READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+ / API 33+) or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below).
  • Purpose: Enables the Media Player, Video Editor, and Document Scanner to discover, display, edit, trim, and save local audio, video, photo, and document files on your device.
  • Handling: Your files are processed strictly in real-time on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

B. Camera Permission

  • Permission Requested: CAMERA.
  • Purpose: Required strictly for Document Scanning and image capture features (taking a photo of a document, invoice, or receipt to convert it into PDF/Image format).
  • Handling: Camera frames are processed on-device. Images taken via the scanner are saved directly to your local storage.

C. Microphone Permission

  • Permission Requested: RECORD_AUDIO.
  • Purpose: Required for Video Editor features (adding voiceovers or audio tracks to videos) or Audio Player visualizer features.
  • Handling: Audio recordings are processed on-device and embedded directly into your saved media files.

D. Device and App Diagnostics (Non-Personal Data)

  • Data Collected: Device model, OS version, app performance logs, crash reports, language settings, and unique advertising identifiers (Google Advertising ID).
  • Purpose: App stability monitoring, crash troubleshooting, analytics, and serving advertisements.

We may display advertisements within the Application to support ongoing development.

  • Google Advertising ID (AAID): AdMob uses your device’s Advertising ID to deliver non-personalized or personalized ads based on your consent choices.
  • GDPR & CCPA Compliance: In regions subject to privacy regulations (such as the EU/EEA and California), the Google UMP consent banner will prompt you upon app launch to set your consent preferences for personalized ads and tracking. You can reset or change your preferences at any time via the app’s Settings > Privacy Settings menu.
  • Resetting Advertising ID: You can opt out of personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID via your Android system settings (Settings -> Google -> Ads).

5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & Families Policy Compliance)

Our Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

  • If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately so we can take necessary corrective actions.
  • AdMob ad requests are configured to comply with COPPA regulations when child-directed treatment is flagged.

  • Data in Transit: Any diagnostic or advertising data transmitted to third-party services (such as Firebase or AdMob) is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS encryption).
  • Local Data Protection: Files processed by the app remain stored in secure sandbox environments or user-accessible public media folders under standard Android file permissions.

7. Data Retention and Deletion Request Policy

In compliance with Google Play’s User Data & Data Deletion Policy:

  1. Local Files: Since your videos, audio, documents, and photos are stored locally on your device, deleting the application or clearing app storage automatically removes all locally stored temporary app data.
  2. Account Deletion: App does not require user account creation or registration. No personal user profile data is stored on external servers.
  3. Third-Party Data Deletion: If you wish to request deletion of non-personal analytics or diagnostic logs collected by Firebase/AdMob, please submit a deletion request to [info@aminternational.site]. We will process the request within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
